This course is suitable for in-house service engineers, who wish to extend their basic technical knowledge of SOMATOM GO to perform Level 0 service support.

Participants should be able do understand both theoretical and practical aspects of SOMATOM GO systems basic functionality. They will be able to recognize and understand the elements that comprise the equipment and perform service checks on them.
The course participants can recognize electrical and mechanical hazardous areas, and safely perform simple repair tasks with and without remote assistance, as well as actively assist on remote servicediagnostic.

Basic operation of a SOMATOM GO system.
System functionality and overall component concept from a general block diagram.
Safety handling of CT system components.
Power distribution concept, functionality and simple troubleshooting.
Mechanical overview and handling of moving parts and covers.
System internal communication concept including basic checks.
Performing embedded system quality check routines.
Remote Service and local event recording tools.
Replacement of specific parts (if required by service level agreement).
Customer specific options and requests.
