The aim of the course is to convey a basic understanding of MRI and its application in radiotherapy. For the most common tumor types, indications for a planning MRI and the special radiotherapeutic requirements for radiation planning are discussed with experienced experts from the University Hospital Erlangen / Radiation Oncology. The procedures of various examinations and the methods used are conveyed from the perspective of the radiation oncologist, the medical physicist and the MTA.
