Read before the Journey

1) Hong Kong is the neighbor city of Shenzhen, but Hong Kong maintains a separate and independent immigration system from that of the mainland China (Shenzhen belongs to the mainland of China). This means if you like to visit Hong Kong, you might need a separate visa for your visit. There is no visa available that is valid for Hong Kong and Shenzhen (mainland China).Foreign nationals who require visas for Hong Kong (if they cannot enter visa-free) can either apply for one at a Chinese embassy or directly through the Hong Kong Immigration Department. Please check your visa for the mainland China (the one you need to come to Shenzhen). It could be that it only allows ONE ENTRY. For visitors coming to China the first time the visa is rather often limited to one or two entries. So if you participate a course in Shenzhen and like to go for sightseeing to Hong Kong on the weekend it might be necessary to apply for a new visa coming back to Shenzhen. Be aware that there is currently no visa office on the border using the bay bridge from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, but There is one using the Shekou-Ferry and coming into Shenzhen via LoWu/LuoHu (please check the operating hours of the visa offices), If you travel to SSMR via Beijing or Shanghai take a connecting flight to Shenzhen airport AND NOT to Hong Kong (one entry!).

Directions to the Training Center

1) Fly to ShenZhen BaoAn international Airport
The SSMR training center is approximately 25 minutes from ShenZhen BaoAn Airport, Taxi fare from Shenzhen Airport to SSMR will cost you around RMB60 plus RMB10 for toll.
-Exit airport.
-Take a taxi to your hotel.

2) Fly to HongKong International Airport
Please make sure that the HK transit visa is not required, check the visa-free list please visit ( link )
-Fly to HK international airport
-Exit airplane. DO NOT go through entry procedure into HongKong
-Follow the sign to “Ferry Transfer Desk”
-Take the ferry for 30 minutes to ShenZhen She Kou Port ( check the ferry schedule here )
-Exit ShenZhen Ferry port
-Take a taxi to your hotel or directly to SSMR training center

3) Fly to GuangZhou International Airport( Information )
-Exit airport.
-Take the shuttle bus to ShenZhen bus station.
-Take a taxi to your hotel or directly to SSMR training center
